Today's page was begun while seated in John Wayne International Airport.
Gate 13.
No, I am not superstitious!
God willing, This will get me to Atlanta.
This got me to to the airport:

L.A is a great big freeway. Put a hundred down an buy a car.
In a week maybe two they'll make you a star.
Dreams turn in to years - how quick they pass!
And all the stars that never were
are parking cars and pumping gas.
Do you Know the Way to San Jose
Oh yuck. This is a job I would not want!
Oops! It spilled!! It really did...
I wonder if he's in trouble...
Cleanup on Aisle 80-90!
I stood inside this un-air conditioned tube for 12 minutes waiting to board the plane. (Frequent Delta flyers - I was in zone 4.)
Passengers with oversized carry on luggage trying to stuff it in the overhead bins causes us all to have to wait. This is one of the reasons I would rather drive.
I do appreciate GPS! You are here.
But I could do with being reminded that I live in Carolina Del Sur... Sigh.
I landed in Atlanta and discovered the obvious had happen while I was in the air. Sigh...
I got this message in a phone email from Lydia Evans:
C061. Bishops had amended. Cmte recommended non-concurrence and House voted 60% not to concur. Title III.1.2 stands as worded.
That's good news. Here's the news article.
And this:
Bishops didn't adopt C023 to work against DoMA after yesterday's close vote in HOB. Instead refers to Executive Council. House concurs at
4:35 pm.
Second small victory today.
Peace
Lydia
Now that is interesting! Here's the news article.
I also saw this letter that the PB sent the ABC. Oh come on, Katherine! Who are we kidding?
Anyway - I promised you a bunch of pictures I hadn't used before. Here you go!
City buses... Trees...
This is what the back of the Convention Center looks like.
Fountain at night.
Palm trees grow and rents are low and the feelin is laid back..
(Neil Diamond... I Am I Said)
And yes we got convention people!

And we got SC people...

This is Chuck - An actual card-carrying Conservative in the New Jersey delegation in front of us
He's the only one in the whole NJ delegation!
This is President Bonnie's Parliamentarian
I did not get to go here:
or here...
Lastly, it is time for Gregory, Gregory Gregory!!!
Here he is, in all his splendor - all ten days.
Day one: Day two:
Day three: Day Four:
Day Five: Day Six:
Day Seven: Day Eight:
Day Nine: And lastly... day Ten!
Woooo Hoo!
I made it home to CHS, and my wife and BOTH my daughters were there to meet me! What a wonderful surprise!

Thank you for the past eleven days, and God bless you! Good night from the Isle of Palms!
