“First Thursdays” is an opportunity for our Seniors (those eligible for AARP!) to gather monthly as a covenant community for joyful fellowship, prayer, worship and to experience the Holy Word.   We will break bread together, worship the Lord with hymn singing, have a teaching in God’s Word and pray for those in need. All Seniors at Sullivan’s Island, Daniel Island and I’On are welcome to attend. Prayerfully consider joining your Holy Cross family to serve those less fortunate. Last year, FOTM fed 5000 people in 3 locations in the Charleston Area.  We are the sole church partnering with St. John’s Chapel (Brother Dallas’ church) to serve the downtown community. We will serve at Philip Simmons Park/Mall Park at 68 Columbus Street (right next to Trident Tech Palmer Campus). We anticipate serving over 700 thanksgiving dinners that day, so we need as many people as possible to help. This is an excellent activity for families and small groups! 2-hour time slots are available from 11am-3:30pm. Call the church office at (843) 883-3586 to sign up.
