Impressing the hearts of children with love for Jesus Christ
is our most significant responsibility as parents. Holy Cross
partners with parents to increase faith in families, strengthen
marriages, and encourage God-centered relationship between
parents and children. Through the strategy of home centered
church supported discipleship the faith of families at Holy
Cross is forming across seasons,
across
locations, and across
generations.
Across
Seasons ~ There is a God designed rhythm to life.
This is especially noticeable in families with children. Season
by season parents and children discover new understanding,
change and grow. Faith Formation among family members is shaped
through engaging each season’s unique significance. In the
same way that each new reading of the same Biblical passage
or account can reveal new understanding, each new year of
life offers new understanding, new relationships and the potential
for greater Christian Formation.

Across
Locations ~ Holy Cross is one church with multiple locations.
Families enjoy worshiping, learning, and ministering at Sullivan’s
Island, Daniel Island and the coming I’On location. Services,
events, and resources occurring at all three locations are available
to all Holy Cross families. Engaging opportunities at every
Holy Cross location offers families the widest variety of resources
for the discipleship of parents and children. |

Across
Generations ~ The multigenerational nature of Faith Formation is
a great blessing from the Lord. The expectation of adult believers passing
the faith to children and grandchildren is one of God’s primary strategies
for accomplishing the Great Commission. At Holy Cross nine month olds, ninety
year olds, and nine year olds are formed in faith together.
