What are the qualifications for serving on Vestry?

Candidate must be baptized followers of Christ who have completed the Membership Course and are seeking to walk in faithfulness through serving, giving and worship. Candidates should lead lives above reproach and exemplify Christlike character (1 Timothy 3:2-7; Titus 1:6-8) as well as manifest fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

What is the process to serve on the vestry?

Nine members serve three-year terms; three rotate off each year. The congregation is invited to submit nominees for consideration as candidates. Those candidates are then prayerfully considered by a vestry discernment committee which consists of outgoing Vestry members and other lay members. The committee recommends a slate of nominees to the Vestry which are presented as a slate to the congregation prior to the annual meeting for a vote at the annual congregational meeting on February 15th.
