Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a model for students with a commitment to following Jesus and fostering a vibrant spiritual life
Build discipling relationships with students
Cast vision for students to become life-long disciples of Jesus with a heart to reach their friends with the Gospel
Lead Sunday programming, including time in scripture, prayer, and worship together, as well as fun and fellowship
Support rector/associate rector in the teaching of confirmation class
Help create outreach events and service opportunities for students
Help recruit and equip youth team leaders
Participate in weekly worship and is an active member of a local church.

Vision:
Help cast vision for worship as a way of life that seeks to glorify God, deepen affection for Christ, and is rooted in biblical truth.
Build culture of corporate singing that is congregational, spirit-led and draws from the breadth of Christian musical tradition, including hymnody and praise music.
Grow a worship team that incorporates piano, organ, and acoustic instruments, as well as a choir.
Foster a culture of discipleship within the worship ministry.
Administrative:
Build weekly services (8am and 10:30am) using Planning Center and ProPresenter
Weekly practice with worship team
Participate in weekly staff meetings and meeting with Rector
Manage AV team
Oversight of all song selections (sound doctrine, theologically rich, congregationally singable)
Budget prep and oversight
Maintain all ProPresenter, CCLI & CVLI licenses
Planning and prep for all special services (Christmas, Holy Week, Weddings and Funerals)

Summary: Church of the Holy Cross is seeking a Church Administrator to help keep our ministry running smoothly by managing the day-to-day operational and administrative needs of the church. This role can be full-time (five days a week) or shared between two part-time staff members. Some Sunday morning responsibilities may be included. We’re looking for someone who will not only join our team but also become part of our church family—joining in worship, completing our membership course, and fully engaging in the life of the congregation.
Responsibilities:
Front Office: Oversee reception, volunteers, phone systems, email, and inquiries.
Manage church calendars, office supplies, equipment maintenance, and room reservations. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with church policies and legal standards.
Database & Software: Update and maintain the church database for members, attendees, and volunteers. Generate reports for ministry planning. Manage IT systems (software, hardware, networks) and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades.
Communications: Produce newsletters, announcements, and event promotions. Update church website and social media with engaging content. Design or coordinate graphic design for sermons, events, and signage, and capture or source photos for social media.
Sunday Services: Plan logistics for Sunday services, including coordinating service teams, preparing materials, and managing last-minute needs. Support membership processes, including classes and record-keeping.
Special Events: Organize holiday services, outreach programs, and church-wide gatherings, ensuring logistical, promotional, and volunteer needs align with church goals.
Qualifications:
Deep, personal faith in Christ with consistent spiritual practices (prayer, Bible study, worship).
Strong organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a heart for serving the church.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Planning Center, MailChimp, SquareSpace, Canva, and database/IT systems.
Familiarity with church operations and alignment with the ADOSC Statement of Faith and Church of the Holy Cross’ mission and values.
